Dr. Neil D'Souza, MD
Prior to practicing medicine, Dr Neil D’Souza was a radiation therapist treating cancer patients at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. Dr D’Souza then went on to complete medical school and his Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto, followed by an Emergency Medicine Fellowship at McMaster University. He also completed a MHSc in Health Administration at the University of Toronto’s Institute for Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME).
Dr D’Souza’s practice involves acute care as an Emergency Medicine Physician, and preventative and primary care as a Family Physician. From this wide range of patient presentations, he has seen how acute and chronic pain, and dermatologic conditions can affect patients’ day to day lives. Given this, Dr. D’Souza has incorporated injectables into his practice, including PRP and mesotherapy for conditions such as hair loss, joint pain, and muscle/tendon injuries, as well botox injections for TMJ, chronic migraine and hyperhidrosis. He will be adding dermal fillers to his injectable practice in the near future.
Beyond medical practice, Dr D’Souza stays active through weight lifting, Peloton cycling and PowerZone training. He enjoys spending time with family, travel and everything Raptors/NBA.
