The central nervous system is heavily influenced by the craniosacral system which includes the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord. Every day your body endures stresses and strains and your body absorbs them. Unfortunately, these changes often cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system. These distortions can then cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions.
This can create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and potentially every other system it interacts with

What to expect
During your initial Craniosacral Therapy (CST) session, your practitioner will conduct a detailed assessment, reviewing your history, lifestyle & any concerns you may have, to tailor the treatment to your needs.
The hands-on evaluation involves gentle palpation (on the sacrum & cranium) to assess the rhythm and areas of tension/restriction in the body.
Sessions are done fully clothed in a relaxed, quiet setting. Your practitioner will use light-touch techniques to encourage balance, release restrictions, and support your body's natural healing processes.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes
