A: Most people experience no pain during PicoSure laser treatments, and describe the feeling similar to the snap of a thin elastic or rubber band. Although not usually needed, numbing cream may be provided among request – to minimize any discomfort.

Q: Will there be a long period of downtime after Picosure treatment?
A: Slight swelling and heat may be expected over the area for the first two days, and a crust or blister may form over the treated area. This will eventually disappear in the weeks following your treatment. The probability of these side effects occurring varies from person to person

Q: How many Picosure Treatments do I need?
A: The number of treatment depends on the individual and the condition being treated. Some will notice a dramatic improvement in their skin tone after just one PicoSure treatment, although multiple treatments (usually a series of 3-4, every 2-4 weeks) often provide the best results.
